Hannah Bretz Counseling

I became a mental health counselor because of the life changing care and support I received from my own counselor during my parents divorce as a child. From then on I knew I would eventually find myself in the field of mental health. However, I knew that I needed to see and learn about the world before doing so. After graduating from CU Boulder I decided to become a flight attendant to do just that. Several years in hospitality and aviation gave me an understanding of what it means to care for others even in strenuous circumstances. Fostering exploration has carried into my career as a mental health counselor. Together we will work towards achieving your personal goals through the use of attachment principles, CBT, somatic work and psycho educational tools. Working with neurodivergent individuals runs near and dear to my heart. I was personally diagnosed with ADHD late in life and understand the silent struggles neurodivergent individuals encounter on a daily basis. Learning about the ever evolving research and treatment of ADHD is a passion of mine. I bring a fresh perspective to the treatment of ADHD. Its not always about fitting a square peg into a round hole :)
